Mary Priscilla Archer

Life’s Legacy Mary Priscilla Maness Archer entered into this world on January 31, 1948 in Robbins, NC. She was the beloved daughter of George and Ruby Maness. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Gilbert (Joyce), Wendell, Ben and Jerry Maness; sisters, Bernice Ritter, Eillery Chisholm (Robert), Tillie Thomas (Herbert) and Bessie Miller; her granddaughter, Sarenati Archer-Dandridge; and sister-in-law, Daphne Maness. Mary Priscilla received her formal education from Pinckney High School in Carthage, NC. Mary Priscilla accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She attended Little Old Holiness Church in her younger years. Mary Priscilla was united in holy matrimony to William “Bill” Archer on January 6, 1968 in Yonkers, NY. Their union was blessed with 10 children and 55 years of marriage. The family moved to Richmond, VA where she attended Narroway True Holiness Church. Afterward she was a dedicated member of The People’s Church of Apostolic Faith which her husband was the pastor. Mary Priscilla enjoyed helping people, gardening, planting flowers, she enjoyed bible study, and singing hymns. Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a woman of grace, meekness, sophistication, fearfully and wonderfully made, a woman of God. Mary was filled with an undeniable love that attracted anyone that came across her path. Faithful and wise, she was also very generous. She has finished her course, she has fought the good fight with Jesus by her side. She will be forever loved, missed and cherished by many. Mary Priscilla leaves precious memories to her family: loving husband, Elder William R. Archer; ten adored children, Charletta Archer, Tineka Archer, Jabbar Archer (Donna), Kamuanya Archer, Kareem Archer (Lauren), Mianda Archer, Tasha Archer, Tara Archer, Lakeshia Williams (Jamal), Qiuana Fleming (David); caring grandchildren, Maurice, Kwaun, Zhian, Moriah, Kalaya, Douglas Jr., Daequan, Justin, Lazavier, Cristian and Makiya and great grandchild, Kash; siblings, Elder Michael Maness, Ruby Armstrong (Larry), Glenda Jones (Ronnie), Glen Maness, Chris Maness; three sisters-in-law, Ernestine Maness, Gloria Maness, and Emma Maness; two brothers-in-law, Henry Ritter and Hoy
