Cindy L. Mosley

On December 10, 1969 Norma L. Vaughters-Mosley and Berkley Mosley gave birth to a beautiful baby girl and they named her Cindy. Cindy was the youngest of Shelly, Berkley, and Britt. God sent his angels to pluck her flower from our garden on November 13, 2020. Cindy gave her life to Christ at a young age and was baptized at the Fountain Baptist Church of Baltimore, Maryland under the leadership of the late Reverend Charles M. Franklin. Cindy never forget her religious roots. Cindy was education in Baltimore City Public Schools. She was an honor graduate of Eastern High School and graduated in 1987. She majored in Accounting. She was involved in many extra curriculum programs. She was popular at school due to her exuberant smile and personality. Cindy was blessed with one child that she loved and adored. Her life changed majority when Brandon Christopher Latham was born on June 9, 1988. They were inseparable. She spoke of Brandon with high regard and was always proud to call him her son. Cindy was employed with Johns Hopkins Hospital. She began her tenure there on January 28, 1991 and remained employed until her death. Her Johns Hopkins journey began in Banquet Services and continued through several areas of Medical Records. She believed that there was always another opportunity awaiting her at Hopkins. In 2008 she joined the Department of Oncology as a Patient Access Specialist. She was dedicated and committed to her role and everyone knew it. She was an essential part of the team. She believed in going the extra mile to make sure her patients had what they needed. Her Oncology family loved her and understood her. She never hesitated to let them know how she felt. She was employed at Johns Hopkins Hospital for 29 years. Cindy was the President of the Elite Birthday Club and she didn't play about the birthday payments. She had rules and you knew you had to follow them to be a participant. Cindy had a big heart. You knew exactly how she felt about everything. She had a beautiful nurturing spirit to all whom she encountered. Cindy was direct and straightforward and to the point. When she spoke you listened. In her spare time she loved spending quality time with Brandon and enjoyed family gatherings, shopping, singing , and was the life of the party. She was her parent's baby and was spoiled rotten. She loved her family. She was an avid shopper and had numerous deliveries daily. Cindy leaves to cherish every great memory: her devoted son, Brandon Christopher Latham, one sister Shelly Vines, one brother Britt J. Mosley, one brother in law Kelly Vines, three aunts; Carolyn Gross, Patricia Vaughters and Karen Wright, one nephew, Kori Vines, three nieces; Brittany, Kyrsten, and Kennedy, three great nieces, one great nephew, three devoted cousins; Rhonda Gross, Tiffany Bailey, and Michael Vaughters, one God brother, Marvin Stone, two God sisters; Dorenza Thomas and Vonda Holman-Carter, Special friends; Rochelle Toney and Romona Dillard, many relatives and friends.
