Brandon Bouvier Ellis

Brandon Bouvier Ellis was born on September 19, 1983 to Jacquelyn Knight and Barry Ellis of Richmond, VA. He was the apple of his mother’s eye, and she made sure he knew she believed in love at first sight because of that day. He played all sports from flag football for Glen Lea Little League to wrestling for Brookland Middle School’s wrestling team. He was also on the football team for the might Henrico High School Warriors in 1999 when they made it to the State Championship. He would go on to graduate from Henrico High School in 2001. Brandon loved sports and was an avid Dallas Cowboy, Chicago Bulls, and Florida State fan. You would be fighting a losing battle to argue with him about anything, but in particular sports, because in his words “he was brilliant.” His favorite things to do were fishing, travelling, shopping, are caring for his dogs. He had pet names for everybody-especially the people he was most fond of Dukes, Bo and Lean, Tina, K, Tinka Butt, and Pudding Tang. Brandon worked for Aireco Supply, Inc. for 13 years as a Counter Sales Representative and received several awards for top sales. He loved what he did and his customers were also his friends. He never met a stranger. To know him was to love him. He had a circle of friends that was his crew, and he was dedicated to them and their friendship. Although his time here was short, his life had an enormous impact on everyone he came in contact with. He was a dedicated son, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. Brandon will be greatly missed by his loving and devoted mother, Jacquelyn Hill, step-father William Hill,Jr.,father, Barry Ellis; maternal grandparents; Douglas and Arlene Knight; step-sister Williamesha Hill; step-brother William Hill,III;aunts;Dorothy Morris(Robert) and Dawn Wilkerson(Hugh);uncles:Douglas Knight,Jr.,Darryn Briggs(Lori),Garry Ellis, Sidney Ellis, and Terrance Ellis(Tonette);great aunts: Doris Carter, Barbara Crosby, Marjorie Edwards, Audrey Patterson and Grace Epps; great-great aunts: Dorothy Hewlett and Berniss Byrd(Edward);great-great uncle, Dana Payne of Detroit; God Parents:Kristina Molyneaux and Brian Vaughan;niece,Amari Hill;Goddaughter,Bella Bailey; and a host of other relatives and friends,including:a devoted cousin, Kevin Fitzgerald,girlfriend,Stephanie Turner and his “brothers:”Jamaal Bailey, Antoine Lewis,Joe White,Donell O’Neil,William Pierce, Wayne Wood, Justin Tisddale and Terrance Banner.
