Arthur Wade Joyner Jr.

ARTHUR WADE JOYNER JR., also know as “Junior” or “Daddy Arthur”; the son of Alberta Moore and the late Arthur Wade Joyner Sr., was born on August 22, 1966 in Baltimore, MD. On August 9, 2013 our heavenly Father made the call to bring another angel home. Arthur was educated in Baltimore, MD within the public school system. During his adulthood, he went on to further his education and obtained his CDL license and carpenters certification. As he would say, “I gotta get a real job paying real money.” He was a jack of all trades especially when it came to cars and houses. Juniors love for music, his family, cooking, dancing, working on cars, and “taking rides” was what kept him going at times. He loved and associated with people from all over making him a people's person. Arthur was known for his kind heart, sense of humor, driving fast and last but not least that sneaky smile. During his early childhood he dedicated his life to Christ. He leaves to cherish his memories forever: his mother, Alberta Moore; grandmother, Mary Barnes; the love of his life, Janie McLeod; his children, Kyesha and Malik Joyner; stepchildren whom he shared a very special bond with, Candice Hamilton and Danielle Moye; one grandson, Kamari Howell; three sisters, Laponda, Wendy and Diedra; seven brothers, Tony, Jerry, Kenneth, Terry, Trent, Leonard Joyner and the late Sidney Joyner; five aunts, Mary McCray, Elizabeth Dunston, Patricia Plunkett, Ida Stewart and Teresa Hicks; five uncles, Robert McCray, Samuel Edwards, Alvin Edwards, Thurman Edwards and Everett Plunkett, along with a host of other stepchildren, stepgrandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Dear God, On this day, Monday, August 19th, I have to do one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. It's time I lay to rest my king, my husband, my best friend, the father of my son, and the stepfather of my children. How do I make it without him? Arthur was and always will be the one who holds my heart so dear and near. He had a heart of gold as you know and couldn't resist letting it show. From him, I learned how to love unconditional, to embrace the beauty of the rain, and to except each and every human being .... as they are and not judge for that is your job. Again, I ask how will I make it without him; only you know. So I’m praying you will give me the strength on this earth to go on. When the time comes please allow me to join my earthly king in heaven.
