Adenike Olaleye

DEACONESS ADENIKE ABIMBOLA OLAEYE, was born on November 26th, 1957 at Osogbo, Nigeria into the distinguished and prominent family of Alhaji and Mrs. Akinlade. She obtained her elementary education at Osogobo after which she preceded to Ogbomosho Baptist Girls High for her secondary school education. She thereafter went to National College of Education, llesa, Osun State, Nigeria where she studied Agricultural science. As a graduate teacher, Deaconess Olaleye taught Agricultural science and home economics at Osogbo Grammar School and Community High School, Gbonmi, Osogbo among others. Determined to better her education, she attended University of Abraka for a period of time before she left for the United States of America to join her husband, Evangelist James Ayowole Olaleye Mama Adura, as she was fondly called, attended Baltimore City Community College for her basic studies in Nursing. She graduated with Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bowie State University, Maryland. She later became a Registered nurse after successfully passing the Nursing Board Exam. Deaconess Olaleye was an industrious and virtuous women who committed her life to excellence. She worked as Director of her family- owned businesses, which include Reliance Staffing Agency, USA and Reliance Holdings Inc., Nigeria Through her efforts the businesses became profitable establishments. Mama Adura was a devout Christian who loved the Lord whole-heartedly; she converted to Christianity at a very tender age despite her family’s religion. She was know as a fervent and diligent prayer intercessor and a passionate Christian sister who had converted many people to the faith by her action and witnessing. Her passion for the work of God remains a shinning legacy to behold, a legacy which she upheld until the last day of her life. Mama Adura was ordained a deaconess of Christ Apostolic Church, Wosem in 2009 based on her commitment to the work of God. She contributed immensely to the rapid growth of her church by sharing fellowship and spreading Jesus’ love among brethren. Deaconess Olaleye was a kind hearted and devoted wife, loving and protective mother, as well as a generous and dependable friend. Deaconess Adenike Olaleye is survived by her husband, Evangelist James Ayowole Olaleye, Pastor, Christ Apostolic Church, WOSEM, Randallstown, Maryland; her children: Mrs. Helen Modupe Mojibola, Charles Ayowole Olaleye, Patricia Olubunmi Olaleye, Emmanuel Tijesu Olaleye; Son-in law, Mr. Adeyinka Mojibola and grand children: Zion Mojibola and Naomi Mojibola, brothers, sisters and CAC WOSEM church family. She will be missed dearly. May her beautiful soul rest in perfect peace.
