A Place to Grieve,Celebrate Life and Remember Your Loved One

In our modern society, people aren’t given a great deal of time to grieve their losses. The pressures of work and financial concerns both can bring the bereaved back into the work-a-day world far too soon.

Having a permanent place – in a cemetery, mausoleum, or cremation garden –that can be visited regularly by family and friends is an essential part of the time following a death. Such a location is a focal point of memorialization. It provides a consistent place to go to remember your loved one, and to commemorate important occasions. It can help to make a birthday or anniversary less painful.

We offer families in the Baltimore area the beautiful grounds of King Memorial Park, a blend of nature’s beauty and spiritual imagery. It is a perpetual care facility, which means that a portion of all revenue from the purchase of cemetery property is escrowed in a trust fund to insure that there will always be sufficient funds to maintain the burial sites of all those who are dear to us.

Founded in 1973, King Memorial Park has maintained the final resting place of Baltimore’s diverse ethnic communities for almost four decades. Located in the scenic rural, but conveniently located part of West Baltimore County, King Memorial Park emulates the scriptures’ depiction of green pastures.

We intend that time spent here will nourish and heal the hearts and minds of our visitors. Our landscape designers and architects have put truly distinctive touches within the grounds; unique areas and features that will inspire you to return time and again.

Such a permanent place to grieve will slowly become a way of connecting to your family’s past. Visiting the resting place of grandparents or great-grandparents can provide children with an anchor to their personal history.
